An image should not simply multiply legacy issues. Shared settings and device-specific components are considered separately.

Is a Golden Image the best solution for every environment?
No. Depending on device diversity and the operating model, a package-based or another automated installation may be a better fit. We choose the method based on existing systems.
How are different hardware models handled?
We record the hardware and integrate the appropriate drivers into the process. Testing on the respective target devices is included.
Which configuration should work on every device?
Device models, standard software, and exceptions are the starting point for a repeatable installation.
